Brandon Gabriel, born on 21st June, 1983 in Singapore. His entire family consists of working class musicians of mixed heritage ranging from European to Asian descend; hence the race ‘Eurasian’ to Singaporean standards. At the age of 13 he picked up the guitar and initial piano lessons from his Father who was an experienced musical coach at that time. Having noticed Brandon’s ability to learn and successfully perform new material by ear and very quickly, his Father continued basic lessons with him prior. In later years, Brandon would teach himself other instruments including Drums, Bass Guitars, and Organs at a rapid and successful pace. With his favourite instrument being the guitar, he would set out to piece together his initial band, ‘Vicious Rumour’. Where, at the age of 16 he attained his first years of musical exposure as a lead guitarist winning weekend contracts at events and bars within the Singaporean scene. At 18, he was pulled into a Bluesy Rock group consisting of three other band members where he would take the role as the youngest member of the group. At 20 he would leave the group for various other bands whilst covering songs, developing his song writing skills, and gaining exposure for the next 5 years. During his tertiary years he would continue to perform with various unsigned cover bands locally and abroad. In 2006 Brandon would successfully set-up a home recording studio where he would record his initial original material on all instruments; all produced, performed, and written by him to date. In 2008, Brandon would graduate from APMI Kaplan (National University of Ireland, Dublin), with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management majoring in IT.
