I was a resident of Meraux and a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Violet in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana until Katrina hit. I have heard stories about the failure of government, including FEMA, SBA, LRA, or generally speaking, the failure of big government.
Since Katrina, I have gotten married and am now living in Metairie. 2009 - Back in Meraux.
