Whether playing a cover tune or an original composition, each song is infused with a spirit and passion all his own.
While most woodwind players use the flute as part of an arsenal, Brandon plays the flute exclusively and aggressively. His array of soulful R&B melodies brings a pleasing and calming voice to the music scene. With awesome improvisational skills that allow him to play within any genre, Marceal refuses to be placed in a box.
"My sound is refreshing, even therapeutic. Many music listeners have expectations of how they want or think certain instruments should sound. With the flute there are sometimes really low expectations from the average listener, allowing the music to speak for itself and shine."
With 20 years having past since blowing the first notes on the flute, Brandon has been performing for audiences from local elementary schools to national television shows. His musicianship extends far beyond just playing the flute, he's also a composer, arranger and songwriter. His last song placement was in the Universal Pictures theatrical release, Idlewild.
