Whenever BrandonQ was 10 years old, he would get on yahoo chat rooms and play music through the mic forcing everyone to hear what he wanted to play. At a young age, he found enjoyment when he noticed people enjoying the tracks he was selecting. In his eyes he was djing, as he would get on the mic in between tracks and talk about the music he was playing.
BrandonQ was first introduced to The Lizard Lounge on his 17th birthday. That night Dj Scribble was playing. As BrandonQ danced his ass off, he felt the tingle and chills flow throughout his body. The music and atmosphere took the highest level imagineable. From that day, he was hooked and made The World Famouse Lizard Lounge his top priority as he went religiously every Saturday. Naturally, his influences were the past and recent resident Dj's: Mann Dogg, Johnny Funk, Mr. Cooley Sno-White, Jeremy Word, Storm-E, Raydar, Shaolin, and Andy Szontagh. As well as every famous, well-known headlining dj's that freqeuented The Lounge.
From there he started promoting for WildOnDallas.com in order to gain connections. However connections were useless without the skill. After a short period of time, he bought the cheapest pair of numark turntable's he could find. He had no clue what I was doing until life introduced him to his current roommate, Colby. Colby taught Brandon the basics of mixing and he took it from there.
Then, Brandon found love and made her his top priority. He had a new passion and restricted the mixing to the garage. Brandon enrolled in college as he applied and tested for fire-fighting jobs around the area.
Whenever they broke up, he started to pursue his dream again. By this time he already knew how to mix. So, he did everything he could to get gigs. It wasn't too long until Dj Riot (founder of EDM Revolution) heard one of his sets at an underground warehouse rave in April of '09. Riot asked BrandonQ to be apart and he instantly agreed.
BrandonQ is on the rise and is appealing to a wide audience without compromising.
He uses Nuskool, Funky, and Tech-Funk Breaks to flow across the board and hit all Genres including ,DNB, Dub-Step, Rock, Hip-Hop, Electro, and NuDisco. His favorite genre is the NuSkool breaks being produced by Ctrl Z, Screwface, Dilemn, Far Too Loud, Rogue Element, Krafty Kuts, and Dj Fixxx just to name a FEW.
BrandonQ has made hip-hop/break mash-up's that are being played by local legends such as Storm-E and Micheal Todd. After a few months he gained residencies at Esoterica(Fort Worth) and Onyx(Hurst). He has also already played alongside the Dallas queen Snow White, and famous headliner Lea Luna.
His dream is to become an established DJ playing the music that he enjoys the most. He's going to do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Therefor, unless we can control our moods, then we cannot have full control of the decisions we make." Brandon de Quevedo
