Okay, admittedly I haven't updated thing in quite awhile. It's Friday night and I've got a moment to check online as the boy went to sleep. Gettin' crazy! Ha! That's pretty much my life right now.
As you might have been able to tell by my pictures, Brooke and I had our first child on April 17th. His name is Jack David Savage and he came out at a measly 9 pounds 13 ounces. However, he's been growing like a weed. Tall skinny dude, we are told his is in the 97+ percentile in height. Going to tower over his Dad!
Having a baby is such a joy, words fail me when trying to describe the experience. Such a joy to witness all the changes that go on. Even the smallest changes are amazing to see. He's just over 2 months now and is smiling and interacting more every day. I cannot wait until he is walking and talking.
Besides the baby entering our world, there hasnt been too much else new going on. We are still trying to have our lives, just on a smaller scale. Still going to concerts, playing the guitar, all when we can find time. Been looking for some new employment lately, which is a tough task given the economy. One thing I have been doing pretty consistently is hitting up the golf range. My game still needs some work and really is such a relaxing activity. I'm looking forward to a summer of improving my game.

i leave dec 3rd so i think i'll be in town? i looove 311, i listen to them a lot in cali. the music goes with the scenic views and hot sun fo sure! yes we must go to a show together, we saw them at wqarped tour, remember that? i was in 8th grade i think..crazy eh??? i think i'll see u tomorrow at jacobs birthday? otherwise i'll see u soon!
I just wanted to tell you and Brooke that I love you two so much. That might sound a bit feminine but i dont care. Everything I said during your toasts was truly heart felt and its because you of you and Brooke that I will always feel home here. I truly look forward to the opportunity to move back here or somewhere nearby where our friendships dont need to be stretched out 3000 miles. I wish yall the best of trips and cant wait til I see you both again. Hopefully sooner than later.
