Ok, ok ill admit it, im awesome, lol, j/k. It all started when i was about 14, i got my first guitar and started recording my self messing around, as in singing, i didnt start screaming until i was working on the cd "Our Poison is Real. Well, anyways, i decided to try to organize my stuff and put together a song...I did, and it was called "I'm Falling"...and wow, i was critisized hard, especially by my friends who by any means can shove it, lol, j/k. I entered the song on a compitition and placed 273/346, which was actually not bad, i was impressed, so i decided to keep trying, over about 5 months i had recorded an "album" called " Caught in the Fire" and i re-did "I'm Fallin" the quality was better, but the vocals were flangy, and i didnt understand drum-machines, or even seperate track recording, so it was all live, and my musicianship still wasn't up to par. So I got a little nervy and decided to try recording another album, and i got to the second song, My Darkness, and i entered it in a contest and won an award...but other than that, i placed 67/75, talk about an eye opener, nothing like people you dont know bashing the crap out of you on a review...especially when they are right. So then i discovered drum machines. I completed an album called "Our Poison is Real" Which had the full array of instruments, but the production and musicality (Especially vocals) was lacking, this was also the first attempt at screaming..and wow, i sould like an angry 15 year old yelling at his dog, hahah. Then came a huge change, i took a break from recording for quite some time (Probably about seven months), then i started liking the whole screamo, metalcore thing, before, i had played hardrock/emo type music, but i felt that with a change of taste in music, i should change the style of playing...so i did. I began to experiment with screaming, and before you knew it i had a completed album (Taken Through the City) after about 7 months of working on it. This is the CD that is now on itunes, and has actually sold quite a few copies. Now i am trying to incorporate other styles but still maintaining true to metalcore, if you would like to help in the production of my new album, please give me a ring at 1-850-419-3260, we will discuss what you want to do, and royalties and whatnot.
As of now i am working on the album entitled The Moon Will Disapear, as you may be ablle to tell, i do not enjoy actually singing, so if someone wants to do vocals for me on a few songs, or if they wrote a song and want me to help produce it, let me know ( see above phone number). Also on the more creative side, i need somone who is good at art ( and willing) to draw an album cover, i, of course, will pay reasonably, and you will be mentioned in the special thx, and whatnot, if you wanna help, just call me and message me and we will discuss the "nitty gritties"
Some house, a bit of soul, a touch of funk and a load of jazz (influence at least). Blend that lot together and the result is something a little bit different, laid back and refreshing. Every other Wednesday afternoon (14:00-16:00 gmt) on SS Radio Deep and Soulful.
