I understand that. I grew up with words but no action so i'd like show through my actions the same things i'm saying. I realize making yourself available does change you, make you want to be better or more apt to things that come your way. I just think i'd like to take care of some things i need to work on inside, ya know. I believe it'd be more helpful. Ha, i did get told i needed to be a therapist last night though lol
Haha. Well thats good. I was talking to my mom the other day about packing a bag and just traveling and doing missionary work. I think it'd be very fulfilling, though i do believe i have some work within myself to do before i attempt to help others.
I'd like to invite those of you who might feel interested in reading a series I wrote that address some tough issues titled "When Men Become Expendable". Part 4, "War" was posted this morning and addresses how many have been duped to believe that this "Christian" nation goes all over the world executing God's agenda, even though it completely opposes the teachings of Christ. So I last friday I was preparing for my admissions interview, going over the questions with my parents when I came across the question : If you could choose to go to dinner with two people who would they be?. At first I did not know how to answer it. My parents asked me if there was a musician or actress or someone like that I would choose. I just said no, that I didn't necessarily care that much and none of them would be a good fit for good conversation. Then I thought of all the great things that you're doing. Then you were my first pick. I told my parents about you, what you're doing and Adopt-A-Jesus. From there I realized how much you've impacted my life. I just wish I had your drive to make everything that I'm passionate for something that I'm successful in.
