About me:
..A Brief Description of a Brandy
- My full name is Brandy Marie Erdmann. My first name comes from my mother's favorite song, Brandy (You're a fine girl) by Looking Glass. My middle name was chosen because it is my aunt's Catholic name and my mother liked it better than hers, Ann. As for my last name, its my father's and is German. It means "man of the earth".
- My name was almost Rainbow Sunshine. No shit.
- I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but moved to Mobile, Alabama when I was young. This was only after stints in Dover, Delaware and Orlando, Florida.
- I had an extremely high IQ as a child and was placed in special classes. I continued these gifted classes until my senior year of high school
- Even though I could have gone to any college I wanted to, I instead took 6 years off and worked full time doing shit jobs.
- I married my male counterpart, Tony, in 2006.
- Tony is an amazing philosopher and was awarded a grad assistanceship at Western Michigan. We moved to Kalamazoo in August 2008.
- I love Kalamazoo, but still miss the charms of the South.
- If you see me around, I am usually in my uniform of black, gray, denim, and crazy shoes. It makes getting ready so easy. I'm a no fuss kind of girl.
- I have ADD and get bored easily. This annoys my husband because he is extremely focused
- If I have a pen in my hand, I am more than likely writing my name over and over again. Maybe I have OCD too. I also have to count cars while I'm driving. I call it quirky, some call it creepy.
- I love chocolate milk.
- I have strange taste in music.
- Fireworks freak me out.
- I love to paint, even though I suck at it.
- I love to make people laugh.
- I love art that makes you feel loved, hated, disgusted, and aroused at the same time. Its beautiful.
- I'm an awesome cook and love to entertain dinner guests.
- I need more friends. Right now, I am very lonely.
- I can be shy, but I open up quickly. I have a fear of rejection but I'm working on it.
