DRUMMING INFO: I draws from a wide range of musical influences. Fluent in Blues, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Soul, Country, Texas Swing, Zydeco, New Orleans Second Line, and Latin music. After a lot of hard work I received a Music Scholarship to Austin Peay State University with a percussion major / piano minor. I have performed in Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and all around the US. In 2006 I was awarded the “Music City Blues Drummer of the Year” by the Nashville Blues Society. I have a drumming CD “Beats Grooves & Drum Solos” on the ACM label (perform grooves in various genres and short drum solos).
I am available for local gigs (Austin, TX), road gigs, international tours (passport ready), studio work and private lessons. You can contact me here on myspace, just send me a message and please leave your phone number, I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you! peace, Brannan Lane

Here's a nice quote about the groooooove: Country music star Wynonna Judd says this about The Stew ("Delicious Blues Stew" a group i played with for 8 years).
"I have the greatest memory of the first time I ever saw them play. I happened to be at the Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar in Nashville with my mother. We were there to see Jimmy Vaughan, and after his set, they came on stage. The next thing I know my mother and I were dancing in the aisles. THEY GROOVE MY BRAINS OUT!!! You need to experience the joy and celebration in their music like I have. It’s truly a healing experience." - Wynonna Judd
