Recently a friend of mine created a kids cartoon about the environment and the 4-minute pilot episode premiered today. I'd love you to check it out:
http://www. heartwoodusa. com
It stars Carson Heartwood, a 12-year-old girl who takes on political bullies to help fight climate change. The show fills a major gap in the current media landscape -- the lack of a single green-themed children's cartoon in production on any major network.
Carson's sidekick Hugo is voiced by Cyrus Brooks who teaches hip hop and krumping to many of our kids at Deborah Mason School of Dance.
If you build it, they will come
In order for this pilot to turn into a series, I have to prove that there is an audience for it. The only way to do that is if YOU prove it.
You can make a difference very quickly and easily by watching the pilot episode. Then…
Watch it again Forward it to friends Fan us on Facebook Friend us on MySpace Sign up for our mailing list Leave a comment on our blog Buy a t-shirt or button If you and *your* family and friends do one (or more!) of the above, I'm confident I'll be able to make more.
And thanks. I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON... I'D APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DID... DEBBY
Nice to meet you Brattle Theatre! I checked out your website and your Inigo Montoya shirts are great. I'm not getting the "I want my two dollars" shirt though, what's that about? Cheers, Miss B
It would be great if I could add the Brattle movies to my myspace calendar, like I can with bands. So everyone can know what Brattle movies I intend to go to. whether I end up going or not.
