About me: Chon-Kyun Kim (Ph.D., political science, State University of New York at Binghamton, 2001) was principally interested in questions about bureaucratic representation in government agencies. His current research, however, focuses on globalization, e-government, and leadership. His research has appeared in such public administration journals as Administration and Society, the International Journal of Public Administration, International Public Management Review, Public Administration Quarterly, Public Organization Review, and Public Personnel Management. Also, he has published a book entitled "Charismatic Leadership vs. Global Leadership" in Korean. Chon serves on the editorial board for the International Public Management Review, in addition to the Human Relations Commission in the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. Prior to joining the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi faculty in 2006, Chon served on the public administration faculties at Southern Illinois University, California State University, and Midwestern State University. He teaches courses on public organizations, human resource management, and research methods. He loves taking a walk on the beach or in the park with children Julia and Justin. "A good government implies two things: first, fidelity to the object of government, which is the happiness of the people; second, a knowledge of means by which that object can be best attained” (Federalist 62). 김천균 (braveman7@yahoo.com)
