We won't bullshit you with a whole lot of jargon or flowery words. The band was started in 1997 by Levi Peasant and Rebecca Marie. We started writing country-ish songs almost 3 years ago, and it felt really good. Our line-up kept changing for a while there, and that can get hard when you're looking to keep a ball rolling. We really like Mike, Chris, and Scott though, and we think they'll stay with us until whenever the end might be.
We live in the poor part of the city, and the folks here aren't exactly used to hearing bluegrass and country music, but they're really nice to us anyway. We eat food from the dumpster sometimes. Dusty once had a birthday party for Rebecca Marie, and it was catered entirely by the Weis Foods dumpster. We've even been known to procure roadkill deer...mostly Levi and Dusty though.
We like songs. We like pretty melodies. We like guitar riffs that seem understated at times, but are really quite intricate and perfect. We like harmonies. We like to take time with our music. We have a sordid history that involves failed love between band members, long sebaticals, and losses of instruments, but that's for another time. We could tell you some stories. We are a family. We really like Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, and My Morning Jacket. We've got some fans. We're making a new record for the fall....for real this time.

i was still hoping songs like "wipers" and "the search" would have been re-released on some major label eventually! those songs, that 1st cd is really really good!! and i love "Firetrucks" from the 2nd and only just realized iTunes has a few ones I never heard before like "Oh my god" which I also love!
