Heya kids, I sent you both individual messages but I just wanted to let you know that "Spent" is done in case you only live on this profile now or whatever I know I'm rambling now but I can't seem to stop so I'll just keep going until somebody pulls the plug on my compute....

Midge Soup 1. Go camping almost anywhere in Scotland between May and September and make a wee campfire. 2. Heat a can of your favourite Brawthy soup on the fire. 3. Chill out for a while; have a wee sing-song, maybe a beer, a glass of wine or some herbal refreshments while you wait for your soup. 4. By the time you're ready to eat, your soup WILL have midges in it. 5. After you've finished your soup and refreshments a very large swarm of midges will have gathered around you. 6. The swarm will gradually intensify and as night falls it will be so thick it will seem as though you have become immersed in midge soup. 7. The midges will very slowly but persistently eat away at your flesh until the only option left will be to admit defeat and retreat to the comfort of your sleeping bag. I think it's one of those 'circle of life' things that you simply can't do anything about. ES
I just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it 'cos I didn't want to get defeated Showin' how funky and strong is my fight It doesn't matter who's wrong or who's right I just beat it, beat it Beat it, beat it, beat it!
Tee hee...Thanks ever so for the heads up Francis, it was a blast last night.
Hope you are fine and Dandy? Look forward to catching up with you again at Spratton. All the best mate ian
hmm, didn't know that. actually we were referring to a new song called Where the Silver Birch Grow - a rather in joke since we haven't played the f**ker yet
Electric Sideboards recession buster lentil soup -
1 onion 1 cup of lentils 1 bunch of carrots 1 Oxo veggy stock cube 1 tin tomatoes 1 Splash olive oil 3 pints of water salt, pepper, any old herbs (legal or otherwise), splash of Louisiana hot sauce
total cost ~ £1.50
Just slice up the onion and carrots, cook in oil for a few minutes, pour in the water and the other stuff and simmer till it's ready. Big chunk of crusty bread and the hunger will go away for several hours.
haha, who knows! I made this profile years ago, can't remember what the thinking behind it was! Hopefully be able to start making it to the cafe again once all these horrible exams are over, it's all go here!
