Music plays a very important role in my life. My favorite time of a day is when I have the opportunity to just put on my headphones and listen to old records. I..m also very fond of reading. I believe that knowledge is power, and knowledge is not just numbers and facts, it..s just as much the abillity to be a part of other peoples mindsets and stories. Not to mention it can be quite a relief to escape from your own stressful life into someone elses.. story.Music
I..m mostly into 80..s and 90..s alternative music. I..m a big fan of the Cure, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Nirvana..and whatever. I guess you catch my drift. And I feel really sorry for kids today who grows up listening to Shakira. What will they tell their children again? "yeah, when I grew up we had this big hit called "hips don..t lie, and the video pretty much concerns a girl who can shake her hips, yeah" How cool is that? Movies
The more far out the better! I really look forward to the day I know what the films by David Lynch really are about. And the most heartbreaking film I..ve ever seen is "Dancer in the dark" by Lars Von Trier. I felt so sorry for Bjørk that I actually cried, and I never cry from movies. Other movies I really enjoyed; The Jacket (w/ adrian brody), Donnie Darko, 21 Grams, The Usual Suspects, Hooligans (w/Elijah Wood..really cool to see "Frodo" as a badass hooligan), Scarface (I..ve loved Al Pacino ever since) and many more I guess.Television
I honestly think that television is crap 99 % of the time. But if I turn it on I prefer programmes related to music, Six feet under, entourage, sopranos, south park or Simpsons.Books
Main author will always be Bret Easton Ellis.I..ve read almost all of his books, and they all made an impression on me. His last book "Lunar Park" is really recommended. Haruki Murakamis.. Norwegian Wood is probably the most beautiful book I..ve ever read. It..s something about the mood in the whole book that captures you.Heroes
