Throughout its 10-year existence, Switzerland's Brazen has remained a band unafraid to deliver passionate yet audacious music, conveying limpid emotions through elaborate songwriting. Today, with its second full-length album, the band has matured into a confident and powerful unit with an ability to take the listener through an effervescent musical journey that captures the imagination.
Aura, Dora is a vast and often grandiose affair showcasing Brazen's talent for towering vocal harmonies, honeyed melodies, dense orchestrations and lavish expanse. The result is an ear-bending and heart-swelling display of oblique dream-pop and progressive guitar-rock from a band creating songs that stay with you.
To promote their previous releases (the "...As Floods Decrease" EP on Snuff Records and the "Orphaned" CD on Sticksister Records) Brazen has played more than a hundred shows all over Europe (including festivals such as Eurosonic, Paléo Festival, La Bâtie, Pully For Noise, etc.) and shared stage with bands such as Blonde Redhead, Cave In, Franz Ferdinand, Nada Surf, etc. Aura, Dora will put Brazen back on stage.

Un premier titre s’est enfin déterré pour montrer le bout de son nez sur notre myspace. Quelque part entre rejet des apparences et aspiration désespérée « Dégoût démasqué » dévoile sous un premier angle l’univers poétique de Symbols in the Sand qui se verra bientôt complété par un nouveau titre « chronique de l’après-mort ».
