We bring together special collectives of musicians to send the message of positivity, generated by working together.
Our unique collaborations have performed at The Barbados Jazz Festival, London's Rise Festival, the Crisis Christmas project and Vortex Outdoors.
Some of the artists we have worked with:
Imaani, Abdul Shyllon, Zena Edwards, Ayanna Witter-Johnson, Eska Mtungwazi, Don-e, Aruba Red, Portico Quartet, Bianca Rose, Elisabeth Troy, Jnay, Andreya Triana, Rasiyah, Leon Michener, The Lifeforce Band, Marcina Arnold, Donald Gamble, Mellow Baku, The Spotlight Kid, Tawiah, Root Jackson, Me'sha Bryan, Beardyman, Amanda Drummond, Jonathan Geyevu, Baby Sol, Louise Golbey, Eric Appapoulay, Funky DL, Fiona Bevan, Heidi Vogel, David Okumu (The Invisible), Andre Woodvine, Martha D Lewis, The Soothsayers, Theo Bard, Joy Rose, Julia Biel, yasSon.
We've also raised money and awareness for disadvantaged young people and young entrepreneurs when we took our 'Gig For Good' initiative to Barbados:
A version of Marcina Arnold's amazing song 'Forefathers' performed by students as part of the Exploring Routes In Jazz workshop led by BrazenBunch and held at The Vortex jazz club, featuring Nick Ramm on piano and Ayanna Witter-Johnson on cello. Marcina taught and directed the students and the song was learned in under 3 hours! They did a great rendition.
Miss Baby Sol performing at the free Vortex Outdoors festival...Oh what a sunny happy day...
BrazenBunch also ran a series of workshops with students and young people from the Hackney area...they were an integral part of our Vortex Outdoors project and you can see part of their performance here:
BrazenBunch is set up specifically to benefit the community in whichever way possible, by using the skills and abilities we have around us. We believe that building partnerships extends the network of those that wish to bring positivity and therefore reaches further, faster - and to where it is most needed.
We have no membership, no application form, just communication between one person and another. Contributions to the movement are on a 'if you can, how you can' basis.
Imagine yourself in an open landscape sitting outside a mud and thatch hut, surrounded by the people you share land with and talking about simple things that will benefit the tribe - wherever you are and whatever your surroundings, it all comes down to the same. That knowledge that our ancestors passed onto our very spirits is the ethos on which we work. It's part of every one of us - less we forget.
We have run our projects both at home in the UK and elsewhere on our humble little planet...
We run workshops to engage, inspire and empower.
The BrazenBunch arts collective features many highly acclaimed and respected individuals from the fields of music, film and art. By bringing together their creative and teaching skills BrazenBunch provides workshops that are innovative, engaging, inspiring and exciting. The foundation of BrazenBunch workshops are Creativity, Education, Culture and Expression.
Our holistic approach ensures we listen as well as speak and our ethos is inclusion, not exclusion.
We work with young people, those that are vulnerable or at a disadvantage and those that are marginalised. We are one community.

BrazenBunch is a London-based non-profit organisation working with Musicians, Artists, Filmmakers and other creative-minded people. BrazenBunch has no memberships and is as organic and fluid as the land and sea that envelopes the Earth we all call home. Though there is a nucleus that keeps the projects running, there is a rich and varied tapestry of people that make up the fabric of each project.
The BrazenBunch beginnings, and subsequent evolution, lie with a group of creative like-minded individuals whose common ethos was to do good things wherever and whenever possible and promote ethical and environmental living as part of daily life.
BrazenBunch organises projects that benefit both local and global communities. These come in the form performances and events such as our ‘Gig For Good’ which raises funds and awareness for worthy causes, and our appearances at free festivals such as Vortex Outdoors and London’s Rise Festival.
We also run our own music workshops and mentoring schemes as well as providing them for for schools, colleges, charities and community groups.
We have produced our own events and those in partnership with others. Most of these are in support of worthy causes and charities or are free festivals for the community.
BrazenBunch exists on and by the generosity of the individuals that contribute to each and every project in whatever capacity they can. We also source funding if and where possible on a project by project basis as well as suitable sponsorship. Making a donation to a BrazenBunch project, no matter what amount, always helps what we are able to do and is always greatly appreciated. You can do this via the website.
We are always happy to partner with other individuals and organisations that have the same ethos and desire to make a positive impact on our communities.
