There is a swastica inlayed in the brick! Apparently Baumholder was Hitler's favorite place, this is where he trained all of his officers. This is the only remaining swastica on post!

oh yeah i did get the message, we are having tonys parents comming out here for christmas, but i want to come out there and see you guys though i have to talk to tony about it and see what he says hes a little weird when it comes to driving he hates it so bad lol but im going to try and talk him into it, wish me luck, i think it would be so cool to see you all.

It's been awhile since we will be apart for this long. But, I'll survive...I always do. Atleast he'll be back a few days before Chrismtas...he'll miss Turkey Day, but we can't have it all I guess. Anyway, I've been meaning to tell you thanks for the offer on the photo workshop!! I was going to try to go to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving to visit Amy and take you up on your offer, but it costs way too much $$. I have been sick for almost a month now and I think I am finally and slowly starting to get better. So, I haven't been doing anything with photography...or anything for that matter. Anyhoo, I gotta help Nate pack. He has strep throat now and can't get motivated to pack...but he has to leave at 7am so it has to be done. Poor guy, I totally know how he feels. Have a safe trip tomorrow. I want to see pics of you new house as soon as you get there.
