ORINGINAL American Rock n Roll n Blues - Breakaway has played many of the best venues including BB Kings NYC, Cornelia Street Cafe, Hogs and Heifers, The Bolton Theater, and many more. - Happenings include making the Finals of the 2005 Long Island Music Festival, and the Finals of The Duo 2005 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. They have also been featured at The Riverhead Blues Festival, The Soul of the Blues Festival in Manhattan and The Cedar Beach Blues Festival. Breakaway has also graced the cover of Good Times Magazine, and been featured in Martin Guitar Magazine. - "Mulcahy's became the house of Blues as Breakaway began their set. The five man unit turned heads immediately with opener "Look Around". Breakaway were perhaps the most seasoned and accomplished musicians in the line-up, as heavy Les Paul leads, sharp harmonica solos and three part harmonies put them someplace on the rock scale between Led Zeppelin and The Band" from Good Times Magazine .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........Click to zoom in on my visitor map!......

We don't, that's the whole point, we play ORIGINAL AMERICAN ROCK N ROLL N BLUES!!................................... Here's what Paul from Midnight Special Blues Radio had to say about the latest version of Everybody's Talkin which you can hear right here!!! "...............about "Everybody's Talkin". It's not simply better than the version I played before - it sounds like a new song! Now it's a sure 1, or I'm a dummy. ;-) Performance, arrangement, guitar vamp, mood and feel - all fits into each other and works together the most perfect way. Every song hides inside it, the best way to perform it. To feel and follow these hidden "instructions" requires a great and special talent. Elvis had it, the Beatles had it, all the true "greats" had or have got it... You've got it in this take of "Everybody's Talkin"!"
