Well a million other bands, but we're not. we have played in the buisness,hedghog,changes bowie,love affair,rent party,blues brother band,to name but a few you may have heard of, we all know what to do, but convincing you...well that should be easy, come up and see us, make us smile ;-)
Break for the Border is about fusion of different playing interests and styles, playing in a 3 piece rock format, taking classic and lesser known songs and giving them a kick up the arse. Basically a jam band of 3 friends who dont need to know how to play 'together'. We just enjoy playing together, the band origionally formed in the mid 80's and worked anywhere and everywhere, the band took a break to pursue other things and got it together in the mid 90's and worked all over the south east making a blend of covers and origional songs work side by side, once again we called it a day as other interests beckoned, now for the third time we have got it together with new songs and some old songs but all played with unswerving passion for your enjoyment...come and see us next time we are down your way...x....................................................................We are available for beer festivals, gigs big and small, have our own pa, backline etc... give us a call for a quote...............................The 3 tracks with John singing are all live lifted from the desk at Riga Music Bar, the 3 with Steph's vocal were done at Big Noise Studios............................................I'M REALLY STOKED TO BE ABLE TO PUT UP THREE ORIGINAL TUNES FEATURING THE BEAUTIFUL VOCALS OF STEPH ANDREWS.TAKE A LISTEN TO OBSESSION,HEARD IT ALL BEFORE AND HEAR MY SOUL.
