Breaking Blue started in the fall of 2008, when flutist Stephanie Hanusa and banjo player Randy Martin started jamming, just for fun... When vocalist Chrystal Anderson joined the band, the name "Breaking Blue" came about, as a play off of the fact that we started off as a "bluegrass" band, but now are actually far from the genre. Our eclectic sound has and continues to evolve. I hope you like what you hear! :)
