Breaking Dormancy is a Hardcore Metal band hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana. It all began when Brandon met Ted at the Still Remains and Demiricous Show back in March of 2006. Ted asked Brandon if he wanted to come to his band practice to jam sometime. So the next day Brandon tried out for the band and was in. Brandon, Ted and Eric were bassist-less for about three to four months when Brandon brought in Jon to play the bass. Ever since we have worked our asses off to create amazing songs to entertain the masses.

Breaking Dormancy has turned a year old! On March 24th, Brandon, Ted, and Eric have been together for a year.
In December of 2007, Jon left in good terms and we still love the kid and remember all the good times we had at all of our shows. we will miss him. Breaking Dormancy is looking for a new Bassist to be Jon's replacement. Send all info to our Myspace or Ted's

If you can make it to the Rock Lobster this Thursday night, we've got a KILLER line-up and there's going to be a production company filming it. We want to pack the place with local artists and fans of the underground... sort of a communion of like-minded souls. See and meet people in bands you've always liked, meet new people you never knew existed, if you're in a band bring any kind of free promo you want (cards, fliers, free CDs, whatever).... it's like an underground rock conference with live music and fermented beverages. i dont think we should ever play at birdys again they are jerks and bad stuff just happens when we try and play there btw im super pissed they wasted all our time today with this bullshit please dont schedule anymore shows there cuz i dont think ill play them
