Break Nekk Speed are a four piece original rock band from Falkirk, central Scotland, with an average age of 21.
Break Nekk Speed are made up of a guitarist, bassist, drummer and singer, with a heavy, grungy, funk sound
B.N.S. were formed in mid 2002 with brothers David and Andrew Drummond, best mates James McLeod and Ryan Yuile.
After a few months B.N.S. started writing their own material and eventually played there first gig (IROZMUSIC battle of the bands in Bannermanns Edinburgh ) After four rounds of heats, B.N.S. found their selves coming runners up in the grand final in late February 2003 at the Bongo Club, meanwhile playing a few gigs around the central belt.
Practising twice a week and writing new material, the band decided to record their first demo at Groove Tunnel Studios, Loanhead. This earned the band valuable recording and studio time.
In 2004 B.N.S. started gigging more regular to help create a fan base, playing places such as Glasgow’s CATHOUSE, STRAWBERRY FIELDS, BARFLY, ROCKERS etc., Edinburgh’s BANNERMANS, WHISTLE BINKIES, SOUTHERN BAR as well as Falkirk’s JACKS BAR, FALKIRK TOWN HALL and MARTELL (invited to play as support act for Glasgow based band CAYTO as part of the Falkirk College Art and Music Department showcase gig) and many more venues across Scotland

the guys have all grown up and have put there new found musical styles together to create a much more mature rock band
to prove the band mean buissness b.n.s. are teaming up with many international promoters and radio stations to build up ther new self beleived rock sound
plus b.n.s. are soon to be lining up a few date uk wide
