We have a huge collection of music videos ranging from 80's to the present. We also have a full Karaoke system with a full catelog of songs. Just waiting for the next tone deaf person to butcher the song!!!! First Friday of each month we have karaoke. There is a different theme each time.

We own two restaurants downtown, Field of Greens 909 Kansas Ave. FOG.. caters to the lunch crowd downtown. The Break Room (911 S. Kansas )right next door!!! The Break Room (911 Kansas) we serve lunch and dinner. We have a pool table, 15ft screen projection television, wireless internet and a small convienence store. We serve Nathan's Famous all beef 1/4 lb. hot dogs, sandwich wraps, grilled panini sandwiches and pizza by the slice. We also have Edy's ice cream, bottled alcoholic beverages and coffee drinks. The Break Room is somthing Topeka has never seen before!!!!!! Hope to see you soon!!

Hi! I’m Nurse Kelly. Here is the first of a weekly column to tickle your senses and answer your inquiries concerning health related questions. We have all gone to our private physician wanting to ask something, but too afraid to let the words roll off our lips.
Now here’s an opportunity to be completely anonymous! I am starving to receive questions from you readers on health from personal to general, risqué to serious.
Am I qualified to answer your health questions you ask? Personally, I see myself as the female version of Dr. Oz, but with my BSN as a Registered Nurse and much more fun!
I worked several jobs to put myself through nursing school at Washburn and since I graduated with honors, I have worked as a nursing instructor in Medicaid and many years providing public health to our fair residents in Topeka!
Born and bred here, I never have escaped and am truly vested to make our community a healthier, wiser and stronger place to live!
I will share more about me as time goes on, because I am just sooo interesting (cough). But, mostly we will learn about that which peaks our curiosity of medical issues. So, don't be afraid to send me your questions....there is nothing too serious or too silly.

As a 36 year-old mother, animal lover, insurance manager, and student, I spend my spare seconds pondering the ‘what ifs?' and ‘whys?' of life. These range from complex stories to short ‘mental musings.' I am a Topeka native who has collected two ex-husbands and three children. I have two boys: ages 16 and 13; and one girl: age 5.
I am affectionately referred to by co-workers as "James Dean" the rebel in me, or "Stumblina," as God forgot to grant me with any form of grace.
Literary inspirations include John Steinbeck (East of Eden, Of Mice and Men, The Grapes of Wrath), Harper Lee (To Kill a Mockingbird- her only book), and of course, Shakespeare; as well as poetry inspirations Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, and Edgar Allan Poe.
I spent my high school days as Seaman High School's Editorial Editor of the high school paper. Now, I enjoy using the skills obtained in that position to try to gain knowledge of the often overlooked and humorous everyday occurrences surrounding us.
I came into yo place today, and the Humas platter was great. It felt more like I was in Lawrence, or some place like that. so yes very cool, I will be back.
