Breaksea Caravel is a theatrical gypsy orchestra that celebrates the at times trying, yet adventurous voyage through life.
Their first album "anchor", is a taste of the street performances that have been the foundation of their style and energy.
Their second album "whale", included several more musicians, a more diverse style and further explored the desire for adventure, exploration and the mysteries of the Seas.
On their latest album "Home", they have moved towards a fuller percussion driven sound, they include more instruments and use all the members' voices. This album focuses on the human desire for place, belonging and home that frees us to voyage to the unknown.

Hi Nikolas- glad you like the tunes. I'll have to send you guys some of my home recordings of the new songs in case you ahve any ideas. LOVE your new CD. I just got a copy from Christa and was listening to it, and only got to the Butcher song when I had to pause is and grab my accordian cause I got inspired to play- that's a good thing. Excited to hear the rest. I'll keep you update on shows- I'll send an email soon. Haven't felt the babies kicking yet, but saw them moving around in an ultrasound- they are some wild little ones!
