Break the Chair, a heavy metal/hard rock/thrash band, was formed in New Jersey, 2002. The band consists of four members; brothers Tom, Andy, Matt, and their cousin, Mike. Tom is the drummer, Mike is vocalist/bassist, Matt is the rhythm guitarist, and Andy is the lead guitarist.
Our biggest influence is the heavy metal band, Metallica! Our style is mainly influenced off them. We actually got the opportunity to play on stage with Metallica in 04', and we really cant thank them enough! You can also view our bands website at breakthechair.com!
We have put many hours into practice and have been around musicians all our lives. We are all self taught and have written many originals. We also love to play cover songs from Metallica, System of a Down, Rush, etc. We are always up for live shows and different events so please contact us if you're interested! We have also had some appearances on the radio, and have had articles posted about us in local newspapers. We are happy to say that our debut cd "Bound By Aggression", is finally here! Had a great time sharing the stage with Break the Chair at the Nail last night. You guys rock, you remind me alot of the bands I played in when we were your age................well except We all sucked and just thought we were good. You are going to go far Keep on Rocking!
