Love watching Biggest Loser altho I usually snack during the show. Since Mr XY and I don't have cable, we JUST discovered Dexter on Netflix. Clever, great characters, wonderfully written. Am also digging the presidential debates that stream on CNN online. Who needs cable when you can stream???
Books
I'm a late adopter. "Eat, Pray, Love" is as good as everyone said. Middlesex was fantastic. Steve Martin's autobiography was a quick and fun read.
I dig smart writers like Charles Bukowski and David Sedaris. It's not my personal writing style so I envy people who can cleverly turn a phrase.
Heroes
It is my personal belief that Jenny McCarthy is totally underrated. This chick is not only gorgeous but smart, savvy, and super funny!
And speaking of underrated, Don Cheadle is one of the best actors out there right now. Love his work!!!
I'm also a big fan of John Stewart, Ariana Huffington, Kathy Griffin, Ellen DeGeneres, and Dennis Miller before he went Republican.

I think that red is a great color for a wedding dress. I mean if it is your day to celebrate, why not go all the way and make a statement! A wedding should be joyous, and whatever brings on that joy should be included, even if that is a red wedding dress. I wish you all the luck in the world.
