Breathing Cage, are fronted by legendary songwriter Jay Clarkson and featuring local luminaries Michael Kime (Bass), Greg Malcolm (Guitar) and Gary Sullivan (Drums).
The band won first prize ($40000) in the Rheineck Rock awards in 1989 following on from wins by the Headless Chickens and Ardijah. That much money confused the band and the resulting album 'Misericord' over polished some great songs.
Failsafe Records releases spilt milk in 2007. This album collects earlier recordings of those works plus further uncovered material including tracks with Graeme Jefferies (TKP, Nocturnal Projections), and some of the last songs the band played as Breathing Cage.17 songs and detailed liner notes.
