ABOUT "BREDREN BAND".
It was formed in 1999 by four persons, the Bass player Yoshiyuki "YOSHI" Hashimoto, Drummer Tomoyuki "DRUMMIE"Hieda, Keyboard player Tomohiro "T.Key" Kudou, and Guitarist "Ken serious"a.k.a Kentaro. the new sound which took in not only REGGAE MUSIC but R&B, JAZZ, HIPHOP, etc. -- it should pursue -- It is referred to as "BREDREN" and activity has begun.
They are mainly the artists of REGGAE and HIPHOP. From a REGGAE scene of Japan, CHAPPA RANKS, CORN HEAD,Rudebwoy face,Boy-ken, and ENT DEAL LEAGUE, BIGGA RAIJI From(SPICY CHOCOLATE), MISS MONDAY, etc, and from HIPHOP scene, UBG, RAPPAGARIA 、MINESIN-HOLD, THINK TANK, and also the Jamaica scene, EVERTON BLENDER, KULCHA KNOX, JAH MASON, MACKA RUFFIN, EARL SIXTEEN, etc. -- BACKBAND was worked and the reliance and praise from them have been obtained. United with artists or spectators, the spot has always been heaped up at any places with the performance of a high quality, and a natural feeling of a groove.
It appeared on "GARNETT SILK EARTHDAY CELEBRATION" at JAMAICA as a representative of Japan, and a spot is heaped up and high evaluation was obtained even in home Jamaica in 2003. Furthermore, costarring with a Grammy award artist " MICHAEL ROSE" is achieved by "ROOTS REGGAE MUSIC FESTIVAL" in the same year.

REGGAE MUSICに限らず、R&B、JAZZ、HIPHOPなどをとり入れた、新たなサウンドを追求すべく “BREDREN”として活動を始める。彼等はおもに、REGGAEやHIPHOPのアーティストのBACKINGBANDをつとめる。日本のREGGAEシーンからは、CHAPPA RANKS, CORN HEAD, RUDEBWOY FACE, BOY-KEN, ENT DEAL LEAGUE, BIGGA RAIJI From (SPICY CHOCOLATE), MISS MONDAY, etc、HIPHOPシーンからは、UBG、ラッパ我リヤ、MINESHIN-HOLD、THINK TANK更にジャマイカシーンからは、EVERTON BLENDER, KULCHA KNOX, JAH MASON, MACKA RUFFIN, EARL SIXTEEN,等。彼らからの信頼と賞賛を得ている。常にどんな場所でも高いクオリティのパフォーマンスと持ち前のVIBESでアーティストや観客達と一体になって現場を盛り上げてきた。

Over the past few years, Okanogan county, Washington based records label, Sick Donkey Records, have expanded out to
work with artists and producers globally with talents from nearly 20
different nations. Just last month, Sick Donkey Records released its
third full-length CD, the 19 track various artists compilation,
Standing Firm Riddim. The compilation features the Sick Donkey Records
stable artists, Jahson Ites, Huckleberry, and Essential I and a full
array of top global Reggae artists. Pulling together the best Reggae
artists from the Pacific Northwest (Adrian Xavier), Humboldt County,
California (Ishi Dube, Jah Sun), SF Bay Area (Wisdom), Brooklyn, NY
(Rocker T) and the four corners of the Earth: Lutan Fyah, Chezidek,
Half Pint, Prezident Brown (Jamaica), Haji Mike (Cyprus), Ras Attitude
(U.S. Virgin Islands), Ms Triniti (Trinidad), Promoe (Sweden) and
Elaine Shepherd (Canada), was a natural for the CD project in the
spirit of the label’s World C.U.P. (World Consciousness Unification
Project) vision for global unity through conscious Reggae music.
