It’s been 4 years yet that Breet are making music, 5 young musicians always learning by doing. Now the first record -Zen lunacy- is ready to be released, home-made and quite experimental, a little space odyssey.
The idea is easy: a maximum of engagement and no limits to experimenting.
Everyday noise is transferred into progressive rhythms and atmospheres to drop out.
Tiny details and care of all the little differences give Breet’s sound its identity.

In 2004 we played first gigs in smaller locations such as the Casino Luxembourg. By the end of the year we could present a low-budget video-clip and started first recording sessions.
In 2005, the Emergenza competition was a cool experience and coincidented with the release of our EP –Samsara-. We played a lot of festivals and even managed to organize our own rock evening, the Sunside of Darkness festival..
Winter put us in a more cosy mood, so that the year 2006 began with an acoustic session at the Little Woodstock which enabled us to see our music from a different perspective.
Even though our relationship with Big Baba ( bassist at the time ) was great, we realized that things just didn’t work out any longer from a technical point of view and decided to go split directions by choosing our friend Jugurtha to pick up the bass.
Old songs were rewritten and our sound changed its shape, more precise, more personal.
A gig at the Rockhal and the usual Sunside of Darkness festival brought 2006 to an end so that we could start working on –Zen Lunacy-.
We spent half of 2007 in the recording studio, freed ourselves from time pressure to get the best out of our material and are very glad of the result.
-Zen Lunacy- tells the story of a child slowly awaking while the world’s still sleeping.
On his journey, he encounters different energies and learns to question his existence and surroundings. From civilized nature to square bureaucracy, from rhythmical orgies to Yeti screams, imagination and self-fulfilment, it’s all in the music.
Release date for –Zen Lunacy- is the 15. december, on the third Sunside of Darkness.

“Once & for all" is the title of Still Nasty’s upcoming LP. Recorded and mixed in Crab Studios, in Madrid, produced by José López and Still Nasty, and later mastered in Hollywood's own Precision Mastering Studios, by Ron Boustead, in Los Angeles (USA). A whole lotta hard rock, atmospheres, and a touch of stoner make up these Spaniard's debut, Distributed by Alone Records/The Stone Circle.
