  • Movies

Fave lines from my all-time fave movies:

Brian: "It was a flare gun. It went off in my locker."

(Standing in line during gym class.)

Amber: "Ms. Stoeger, my plastic surgeon doesn't want me doing any activities where balls fly at my nose."
Dionne: "Well, there goes your social life."

    "Edward Scissorhands" from 1990.
(After Edward's tour of the salon.)

    Bill Boggs: "How was it?"
Edward: "It was great. She showed me all the wallpaper and where everything is going to be."
    Peg Boggs: "Well that's nice."
Edward: "And then she brought me into the back room where she took all her clothes off."

    "The Faculty" from 1998.
    (Stokley bumps into Stan.)

Stokley: "Get a fucking eye dog!"
Stan: "Well maybe if you didn't paint your fucking eyes shut!"

"Harry Potter: And The Goblet Of Fire" from 2005.
    (Harry and Voldemort duel.)

Voldemort: "Don't you turn your back on me, Harry Potter! I want to see your face when I kill you. I want to see the light leave your eyes!"

    "Labyrinth" from 1986.
    (Sarah meets The Worm.)

    The Worm: "'ello."
    Sarah: "Did you say hello?"
The Worm: "No, I said 'ello, but that's close enough."

"The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring" from 2001.
    (Gandalf yells at Pippin.)

Gandalf: "Fool of a took! Throw yourself in next time and rid us of your stupidity!"

Michael: "You look like...You look like..."
    Troy: "- A doily!"

    "Speed" from 1994.
(Stephens relays what Jack is saying.)

    Jack: "Fuck me!"
    Stephens: "...Oh, darn."

    "Stand By Me" from 1986.
    (A very important camp-fire discussion.)

Gordie: "Mickey is a mouse, Donald is a duck, Pluto is a dog. What's Goofy?..."
    Teddy: "He's a dog, he's definitely a dog."
Chris: "He can't be a dog, he wears a hat and drives a car..."
Vern: "Yeah, that is weird. What the hell is Goofy?"

"That Thing You Do!" from 1996.
(During a TV interview with the band.)

Lenny: "Oh, I'm not here with these fellas. I got a pig in competition over at the livestock pavillion, and I am going to win that blue ribbon!"

    "Twilight" from 2008.
    (Self-loathing and reassurance.)

Edward: "This is why we don't show ourselves in sunlight... This is what I am."
(Edward's vampire skin glistens like crystal.)
    Bella: "You're...beautiful..."
Edward: "Beautiful? I'm a killer, Bella. This is the skin of a killer."
    Bella: "I don't believe that."

About me:

Yes, my name *is* Brekkon (it's Scottish and the spelling is made up), and I *know* it's a boys' name, but I have a vagina! My nickname is Brek (or Berk if you make a typo!), and am only called Brekkon if I'm in trouble, or aren't paying attention to you (which is often, I live in my head). Don't call me my childhood nicknames Brekky or Breakfast - I *loathe* them and they piss me off! :|

Aquarian; big kid; bit of a geek; chocoholic; cynical; good listener; guarded; independent; kinda shy; magazine and memorabilia collector/hoarder; messy; quick witted; rambler; random; retail slave (I work in retail, I never shop retail); sharp tongue; social wall-flower; stubborn; tom-boy that wears dresses; vegetarian (12 years); unique... Wigged out by comb overs; creepy guys; deep water; spiders; and zombies! JUST MOI! Take me for who I am, or not - I couldn't give a flying fuck what *you* think.

Who I'd like to meet:

A decent guy who: Can handle my sharp tongue. Has a dark sense of humour. Has a dirty mind. Has sincerity. Is Honest. Is a bit *quirky*. Is man enough to wait for me. Is thoughtful. Also:
Kermit The Frog from "The Muppet Show":

Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus:

Matthew Gray Gubler from "Criminal Minds":

Taylor Hanson of Hanson (properly):

Hey there! I really did think we were a lot alike from reading the interests and the stuff about yourself. I literally went, "Wow!" because we had so much in common. I love that quote from Labirinth! The worm is so cute and, you're the only other person I've seen who knows what that is. You rock! We like a lot of the same actors and movies too. I hope you are well. Write me anytime you feel like it.

Hiya! I haven't spoken to you in ages :D

Oh my gosh, were they really? I have a friend who saw them in Wolverhampton and said that.
    That's a shame :(

Ooo, yay! I love you now, lol. In terms of sci-fi films, some more obvious ones I can reccomend are The Fifth Element and the Matrix, if you've not already seen them. One of my favourite films is 'The Blade Runner' which is just fabulous in terms of visuals. Tank Girl is also quite a good film, although it's set in the future, but does not have many futuristic visuals. I can also reccomend Equilibrium, Twelve Monkies, Artificial Intelligence: AI, and The Island.

My So-Called Life? I've never seen it before. I'm not sure if it's aired over here.
Would you reccomend I look into it?
I'm not too keen on the olympics either, although I'm watching the Taekwondo now which is quite good.

Hey, I'm hardly on Myspace. I spend way more time on Facebook.
Do you have a Facebook account?
Anyway, good to hear from you. I'm also alive and kicking but not with too much excitment... just been working lots. I spent last saturday helping my sisters paint the new apartment they are moving to. Went to a wedding for a girl I went to high school with. I haven't had any time off this summer because I have to work for a year where I'm at before I can book off holidays.

Hiya nice to hear from you!

    Lovely though! :D
Aww sorry HIM weren't so good, they either play brilliantly or not so well I think. Still love them though! im heading off to see Nightwish on Friday and am interested to see what the new singer Annette will be like live.
