Brenda Kate's influences are Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Wynonna Judd. Also influenced by songwriters Dolly Parton, Jim Croce, Bob Dylan and John Lennon. Jennifer Renee's influences include Sara McLaughlin and Nora Jones.
Breletto is the most recent female duo to hit the music scene this year. Their blend of country and folk is capturing audiences of all ages. Raised in Bucks County, PA, Brenda Kate and Jennifer Renee have been performing as solo artists from an early age. Brenda pursued a career in country music in Nashville, while Jennifer sang with a local band. Brenda and Jennifer reached a crossroads in their lives, especially with their music. They met by mere coincidence at a party. After sharing their passion for music and their deep-rooted faith, they decided to team up as Breletto.
Jennifer has written amazing harmonies to Brenda's original songs and their voices blended so well that it's as if they were destined to sing together. Brenda said, "It was time to take my songs to a deeper level, to make them richer and fuller. Jennifer does that with her unique harmonies. We are truly blessed to have found each other. Now, my songs have a whole new meaning." Jennifer adds, "It has been exciting to bring our talents together and to see how our music has evolved over time."
As the duo branched out into local venues in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, their music has grown to levels they once thought unimaginable. The uniqueness about Breletto is that their music reveals a powerful, spiritual message that inspires everyone from all walks of life. Brenda's powerful vocals and songwriting talent on guitar combined with Jennifer's natural ability to sing harmonies and play piano, make their music uniquely their own.
Beyond the musical journey Breletto has shared with each other is the respect they have received by their fans who are not only drawn to their music, but their personal testimony of faith. Anyone who is familiar with Breletto knows the meaning behind their songs. Their lyrics are profoundly honest, and their melodies are memorable. Breletto is the latest new group to be heard in the world of independent songwriting and they are making their mark in the local music scene, as well as in the hearts of their fans.
They are currently working on their first album, which is a tribute to their musical journey as two hearts, but one voice.
