Young, talented, and insightful; these three words are often used to describe the exuberant 15 year old singer/songwriter Bre Morgan. Bre has been through a whirlwind year that has had her splitting time between Los Angles and her native home in Florida, writing and recording her debut album, being chosen as one of only 11 artists to be featured on Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing, and growing as a songwriter. Her music has long been noted to contain in-depth lyrical content that is both enjoyable and relatable. With a penchant for writing songs that cover a wide array of subjects and appeals to vast audiences, Bre is often asked for the inspiration behind her lyrics.

“I write about love, sadness, and an entire mix of emotions that cover every side of life. My most recent single is about relationships, because just about everybody can relate to that on some level. I try to write about the things we go through in life; things you feel, but may not be able to say. I also like to write uplifting songs that empower kids and encourage them to believe in themselves and have the confidence in themselves to chase a dream.”

Previously recording songs that were written for her, Bre took on the challenge of writing and recording all the songs for her latest album “Lost Inside Myself”. Working painstaking hours, Bre compiled a collection of songs for the album that is representative of her take on society and her life as a 15 year old.

“I enjoy singing songs written by other people, but there is something very special about singing songs that I have written myself. It provides me an incredible sense of freedom and accomplishment. It is a way of truly expressing who I am; in my own words, and from my own point of view. In the end, I feel like I took ownership of these songs, and they truly are my own emotions that went into the recording of each one.”

Bre Morgan’s talent and musical tonality became evident at an early age when as an infant Bre began humming in perfect harmony with the tunes she heard on her parent’s radio. Almost as soon as she could speak, she began to sing, and by age 10 was commanding a stage like performers more than twice her age. Always encouraged by her supportive parents, Bre began entering and winning talent competitions throughout the USA.

By the age of 12, she was named by the nationally syndicated TV Show- The Daily Buzz (then on the WB)as “Entertainment’s Next Big Star”. She opened for national touring acts Jordan Knight, Jeff Timmons, Natural and JUMP FIVE. More recently, Bre has shared the stage with American Idol finalist and former member of the pop group Boyz N Girlz United Robbie Carrico and has begun laying the ground work for collaborations with current recording superstar Drew Seeley (High School Musical, The Cheetah Girls 2 Soundtrack. Another Cinderella Story & more). Drew described Bre as “an incredible singer that is so relevant in today’s music scene. Her music speaks to people and is perfect for mainstream radio. I look forward to working with her. In fact, I am honored”.
