Brenda's roots and love for almost all kinds of music has been influenced by blues, pop, jazz, classical and even country and bluegrass, bringing her versatility as a composer for films and television. Currently she is composing for a documentary "No Vacancy" about the Homeless of Savannah and finished the Steven King screenplay,
"The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands". Brenda narrated a voice over for Savannah's first Historical Documentary walking audio tour for Tour Buddy's, as well as serving as a music editor with her current skills in Logic, Reason and Protools.
Since Brenda has relocated to Savannah, Georgia, she began recording a new CD with Savannah Jazz Ambassador, bassist, Ben Tucker, of Peggy Lee, Sarah Vaughn and Herbie Mann and was thrilled when she got to perform "Coming Home Baby" with the man himself! Five time Grammy- nominated, mandolin player, Tony Williamson and Jeff Autry, guitarist for the John Cowan band also performed on these tracks yet to be released. Currently she is still composing with Grammy-nominated, drummer, Chet McCracken, out of LA. She continues to perform for Eastern Jazz Festivals, concerts and enjoys working on compositions and doing voice over work.
Brenda's instruments: Cantabile open hole Trevor James B foot Silver Flute, with a Yamaha Grenadilla head joint, Vocals, Fender Telecaster, Ovation and Gibson and classical guitars, Pennywhistles, Harmonicas and Roland keyboard. Her work station includes a variety microphones, G5 and G4 Macintosh computers, Digi 002, Pro tools, Digital Performer, Logic, Reason and many plug ins and a large sound effects library.
