|
| Bio | Brendan McKeigan made his start performing improv and teaching improv comedy for seven years before making the move to Toronto to pursue Stand Up Comedy.
Seven months after his first time on stage Brendan was nominated for an Allan Guttman Award for Best New Stand Up Comic. Within a year of his first nomination he was nominated for the Mike Myers Award for outstanding comedic performance. Since then he hasn’t looked back, making a name for himself and gained a loyal following performing all across Canada and North America including Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Cuba and more.
Brendan has been featured on XM Satellite radio, Much More Music, Bite TV, The Comedy Network and is a favourite amongst audiences that find him funny. He has been invited to perform at the Sudbury Comedy Festival to sold out audiences and standing ovations for three years in a row. Brendan’s act also won him a performance at Montreal's coveted Just For Laughs, “Homegrown Comic Competition,” where he received rave reviews from the audience and his peers alike. He is also the headliner of the Rise of the Comics Comedy Tour, performing all across Canada.
