I was born into a middle-class, white, irish-american family in the year of 1983. We didn't always have the best of everything, but we didn't exactly starve either. Growing up, I can still remember how it felt to sit with my uncles; just listening to them pick and hollar as dark fell on the town. Many years later I still try and hang on to that raw essence, aided by my mother's guitar from the age of the earth children. This is music created from desire and passion, not years of lessons, and while it is crude, with some notes in the wrong place, I still smile everytime I finish playing a song. Hell, you might even smile too!
