Artist & Friends Art Show @ the Avalon Yacht Club (located at 7th Street & the bay)
- Tickets are $15, $5 for kids 10 and under (6:00-9:00P.M.)
- Artists and Brendan’s Fund enjoy a 50/50 split on sales
- Cash bar & butlered hors d’oeuvres
Sushi @ Surf’N Sushi: All Day (located at 26th Street and Dune Drive)
- Portion of designated sushi specials benefit Brendan’s Fund

Pizza @ Circle Pizza (located at 2108 Dune Drive)

Method Skate Jam for Brendan’s Fund hosted by Avalon Recreation Department
- Free entry skate contest at the Avalon Skate Park begins at 10:30A.M. (located @ 29th Street & the Boardwalk)
- Lots of giveaways
Celebrity Cheesesteaks @ McCool’s Café & Tea Room (All Day)
- Watch some Cape May County “celebrities” cook up some cheesesteaks
- Proceeds from cheesesteak sales benefit Brendan’s Fund
Saturday, August 15th: All Events @ 30th Street & the Beach
19th Annual Surf Contest : 6:00A.M.-4:00P.M. (Online pre-registration required)
- 12:00P.M.: Circle of Friends Ceremony
19th Annual Homecoming Party @ Community Hall: 6:00-9:00P.M.
- $15 admission and food (Kids 6 and under are free)
- Cash Bar

About me:
Brendan Borek loved life, and life it seemed, loved Brendan. An avid surfer, gifted artist, and an agile soccer player, his teenage years mirrored life at its fullest.
Diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma (cancer of the bone) at 17, he vied against death with courage and dignity until the disease claimed him in December 1991.
Because Brendan touched the hearts of many, the Brendan Borek High Tides Memorial Fund, Inc. was founded...
