Music has been an important part of his life ever since he formed the ability to vocalize, and wrote his first song at 16. In 2006, Brendan lost his father to AIDS. Now it’s his goal to reach young people, and hopes to educate them on this still very serious disease, and he put that passion into his music. At 18 Brendan was discovered by Raymon Smiley, CEO of Smiley Entertainment. Moved by Brendan’s sound, the two began the process of creating Brendan’s first studio release. A symphony of electronica, rock, and pop, ‘Livin’ Out Loud’ was released in 2008 and reminiscent of Justin Timberlake and early George Michaels. The album’s success has given Brendan the opportunity to perform at several prides on the East coast and has now started to gain him exposure on the West coast as well. The video for his first single Anxious spent seven months on LOGO’s Click List, peaking at number 4.
