Coming from a country music background, Brenda’s dad has been the lead singer in a band since he was a junior in high school. His sound drew mainly from 60's and 70's with J. Cash. Jennings, and Jones, and Johnny Horton as his favorites. It was the sound track of her childhood. Brenda however has set out to combine multiple sounds to form her own. After releasing her first two albums, Armor or Elohim and Genesis, Brenda has decided to take a different turn with her music. Pursuing a path of a singer/songwriter...putting the emphasis on the lyrics, which she feels is the most important part. Brenda started writing songs for her children and quickly grew a fan base outside her own home. With a heart fueled by fire and a passion full by Yahweh Brenda has begun her next step in her music career.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of YHWH, as the waters cover the sea.
Isa 11:10
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Isa 11:12
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
Isa 11:16
And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt.

Was awesome to spend time with you and Doug at Sukkot. What a huge blessing to hear your songs too...either in the Tabernacle or at the camp fire. What a blessing you two are. And please tell Doug I am suggesting to someone we not allow Doug to do any type of 'reign dance' at Sukkot. IT TOTALLY POURED AND POURED AND POURED THE NEXT MORNING. LOL!!!!! (just kiddin' around of course!!)
LOVED that dance Doug!!!
Hope you all had a blessed trip back to Tennessee.

Hi Brenda. i've been pretty slow on the upswing, myspace-wise,
but suddenly felt moved to send you some SHALOM !!!
was reading about you on your myspace page and
listening to your lyrics and music. what an honor to be your friend.
how distant things are here in the digital realm, like a microcosm of the earth, this side of Glory... how close, imminent, real, things shall be in the world to come.... we'll chat about all this, i imagine.
one of my drawings, below... very many blessings to you.
Brenda B... I don't know if you will get this, but I was thinking of you today. It looks like on your schedule that you are out of town, so you might not get this right away, but i wanted to wish you HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I love you and miss you so much, I wish you would come to visit San Antonio, and bring the kids, we could take them to SeaWorld, etc... Maybe next year! I will call you soon!
The acoustic version of Reign sounds great. I listened to both and actually like it better than the orchestral version, but I wonder how it would sound if there was a second voice (voice-over?) during the chorus?
Hey...if you're going to head down to Chattanooga or over to Beth Havara in Cleveland, drop me a note and I'll come over and say "HI". We're living just south of Pikeville right now.
