Bio
20th ANNUAL L.A. MUSIC AWARDS ROCK GUITARIST OF THE YEAR His guitar style has been called "Randy Rhoads meets Jeff Beck" by some at Berklee College of Music, while his electronic music creations have been heralded as masterful. When he performs, he sweats pheromones with each note the way Jimmy Page did. And whenever he straps on Animal, feeding him the 200 watts of raw power the beast craves, his wildly exotic talent is unleashed. That's right, he calls his guitar, the conduit to his inner being and key to unleashing the jungle tame beast inside.................Animal. Dylan, who grew up in Canada, began playing sax when he was 10. At 14 he picked up the guitar, ripping and improvising to Eddie Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Randy Rhoads, Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Mick Mars, Paganini and everything in between. A few years later he added artists like Deadmau5, Daft Punk, BT, Kaskade and Supermode to his ever growing list of musical influences. When his high school friends were partying, he was developing his stand alone guitar style and creating electronic music and performing rock, blues and jazz improv guitar in clubs with local and touring acts. At 17 Brennan passed on a recording contract, instead, opting to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston after high school. If John Wayne was a cowboy's cowboy, then Brennan Dylan is an artist's artist, who has been writing music since he was 10, recording since age 15 and receiving airplay since he was 16. Anyway you slice it, Brennan is a unique, world class guitar force and electronic music composer. His music, a blend of propulsive rock and neoclassical guitar fused to runaway train techno in front of thunderous dubstep, is hypnotically captivating. His performance is simply...........unforgettable. -
