brent, this is fucking excellent. i keep hearing those rhythms pushing against each other. it's nice when they hug. wanna hear you do some live stuff. yet another reason florida gone portland is good for me.
wow, that was a leap. You are very good with this idm stuff. the new loop or sound that comes in around 1.33 is a bit abrupt if you want my only complaint, other than that, damn. this one should find a record label.
brent! how's it goin dude. I was searchin through all the music i've done and i stumbled upon the story understood, remember that shit? it's pretty bad ass now lookin back on it. you should give me a ring when you're in town next so we can do some more collaboration.
i wonder if the second one perhaps is confusing because it starts with a four to the floor and then does not provide what it causes the expectation of, ie. a dance song. its also very obviously made on a midi keyboard and loopy, that said, the sounds themselves could be much worse.
trippy and really quite the voyage. chords half way through are totally unexpected but fit really well. ending too is ill. beginning kind of gurgly but in the context of later events functional. listening to second song down now, post on that will be above this
Tree Top Boogie is a good name. In my mind however, it has this Planet of the Apes connotation that was completely unfounded. I want very much for you to be an Ape sympathizer, so give us a song that really shakes the trees, and the primates alike.
