Chess, coffee, smoking, Guinness, PCs, networking, HTML, web-design, intelligence, iPods (as applied to how they are taking over the bloody planet), sociology, theology, theoretical physics, string theory, open-membrane theory, literature, litterature (it's a play on words there--you get that?), other things I lack the interest to continue to elaborate upon anymore, so bye now.
Music
Yeah, music is good. I like it. More, please.
Movies
A lovely way to expand one's entertainment options beyond computing and sexual encounters.
Television
An absolutely mind-crushing waste of my time which insults my intelligence. I refuse to be arsed to put up with it anymore.
Books
Are the most wonderful inventions in human history, barring only this lovely thing called a computer.
Heroes
Hm, tough one, since I am pretty realistic, with a cynical tint. Let's say... Stephen Hawking, and perhaps, Irving Chernev, and let it go at that. Anything beyond only ends up being me.
Not that anyone seems to be making any effort to read this bit, but I'm really only here so I can keep in touch with several people I know personally, and maybe a little branching out, though VERY selectively. It takes a lot to make me add someone.
If I know you personally (we've met, we've had phone conversations, we've exchanged more than four or five emails, like that...) I will probably add you if you find me, but generally speaking, unsolicited friend requests just tend to get on my nerves, unless you completely kick ass.
Do you kick ass? Are you sure? Do you kick as much ass as JenKitty? If you kick at least as much ass as the JenKitty, I'll probably take your request seriously. If you have nothing on your profile or blog, and no way for me to find out what sort of mind you've got, you aren't getting added, so don't send a request.
Now... I am interested in meeting intelligent, forthright, unique people, but I'm still pretty selective, so give me a little time before I decide whether or not you're addable.
