About Brent Lechner

What I'm really looking to build here is a grass roots movement of people that really beleive in Local, Live, Original tunes!! Folks that are willing to walk out in traffic for the music they love!! The music that sprang right out of their own backyard. But I'm not gonna win you over with my words... I'll let my songs speak for me. The songs you hear on my page are the songs from the album. I don't have the money or the time to promote them as much they deserve. But I am convinced that they (the songs) deserve it. Maybe I'm right, maybe not. But I'll carry my false sense of self worth to the mother-effing grave. And I'll be thanking the folks who helped me on my way down into hell. There's no turning back. I'm beyond the point of pretending that I'm NOT trying to be rockstar. Maybe not a rock star, but the closest thing to it that John Prine would approve of. He was a man who battled his own demons in this realm, if the things I've read are true at all. Well, fuck it. I've already said too much. All proper dues and respect to the people who made tihs album possible: John Swaney (and everyone at Cardboard Box Studios), Manjo Bandolin (my comitted and earnest producer), Tonya Bender (my foundation), Mike Flatt (thanks for letting me borrow your bass),Jessica (and everyone at JBH Photography).
