El día Lunes 15 de Junio se llevará a cabo el Minifestival Folk "Near the bridge" Desde Oregon (USA) llega a Lima Brian Smith quien junto a El Vals de Lucy Smith, Chico Unicornio y Paulo Novoa darán una sesión acústica e íntima. Ese mismo día además se podrán adquirir discos independientes y magazines musicales.
Sobre Brian Smith: Con tres álbumes en el mercado Brian Smith se ha consolidado como una de las voces más importantes del indie folk de la ciudad de Oregon (USA) Una ciudad lluviosa y que ha dejado en Smith la huella de un cantautor intimista que habla de forma poética y suave de su cotidianeidad. Se podría decir que Brian Smith ha heredado la calidad y demencia de Daniel Johnston, la poética del primer Dylan y la frescura de Devendra Banhart. Su último disco “New Songs From a New Home” contiene 25 canciones que escribió y grabó en su cuarto y del que no salió por un mes. En esta oportunidad viene a Lima para luego seguir su ruta hacia lo desconocido. Imposible perderse este concierto que quedará grabado en la memoria de aquellos que lo verán en vivo.
