My first guitar was given to me at 11 years old. I saw the video for the song "Gloria" by U2 on MTV (they used to play music videos back then) and I was hooked on music from that moment on. There were many bands through High school with the most popular being " Listen Hear " with John Langford on drums and John Reid on bass guitar. I Started out playing professionally in the San Francisco bay area cover band scene at 18 years old with childhood friends including Greg Camp and Paul Delisle who would later go on to form the group "Smashmouth". When we were not playing High school proms or private parties for Silicon Valley computer companies, we played every bar in the bay area. Joined the San Francisco based band "The Nuns" at 19 years old and stayed there through one album and three years. At 24 years old, moved to Los Angeles to see what it had to offer. Upon my arrival in LA, I joined the band "Dogstar" which takes me around the world a few times and produces three records.
