Introducing The Bretheren, a five piece Funk/Soul/Blues band from Atlanta, Georgia. The Bretheren have been playing around the Southeast for over fifteen years, individually all have been playing for over thirty years each. Our current lineup includes Myles Watkins on drums and percussion; Myles has an extensive gospel and rock background and gives us our drive. . Larry Lester joins Myles on guitar with his Steve Cropper style of playing to enhance the solid rhythm section. Glen Washington, our talented lead guitarist...and excellent groovemaster, bringing the church with him....our newest member , Keith "Doc" Samuels, gives us that big bottom that makes you want to dance, with his electrifiying bass riffs....... to add to our little group we have Darrell Young, the original vocalist for the Bretheren....who with his "Luther"voice and smooth harmonies is an added compliment to the band...*Our extensive songlist leaves little uncovered in the world of dance music. Always ready for a challenge, The Bretheren are always updating and adding to this list...
