I have had the pleasure of hearing Fred Frith perform several times. Ever fascinating. Last I knew, he was teaching at Mills College in CA. This is a 30m "reverb workshop" in which Frith waxes eloquent about the merits of the electric guitar, then shows us why.
Here's one of my BIG guitar heroes. I've been learning from James "Blood" since his 'Tales of Captain Black' record in the 70's. This Blues record pushes the genre to a new notch, and who'd'a thought he'd be leading Alison Krauss? Cool!
