Well, that is that and this is this. Will you tell me what you saw, and I'll tell you what you missed, When the ocean met the sky. You wasted life, why wouldn't you waste the afterlife?

"I like America, just as everybody else does. I love America, I gotta say that. But America will be judged." - Robert Zimmerman, AKA Bob Dylan
Brett If I make it through this year, I think I'm gonna put this bottle down. I guess as time goes on I'll grow to miss it less than I will now. view more
Who I'd like to meet: Some of my favorite musicians: Jeff Tweedy, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Will Oldham, etc. Intelligent people who share the same tastes as I when it comes to music, movies, etc. And hipster girls.
The Beatles - "Don't Let Me Down" (Rooftop Concert)
Mark Kozelek - "Katy Song" (live)
"She has so many posts because I am so great, and she feels a constant need to remind me. Far be it for me to try to stop her. She is a runaway train of Brett praise, and I am at her mercy."
I told you I would do this. You can delete it later if you want. I just want everyone to know how hilarious you are with words. That shit is funny! That should be your catch phrase. Ha!
whats happening? nothing much just checkin stuff out here til my next class. life is crazy lately. anyways how have u been? working a lot? any good concerts coming up? take it easy and ttyl
oh, i wasn't trying to make a comparison between bright eyes and elliot smith. i was merely using bright eyes as my reference for not really digging singer/songwriter material lately. i like conor during the fevers and mirrors and lifted days. i've listened to elliot smith plenty, but again it's just not something i'm into now at this stage in my musical loves. i need nervous, jittery rock music with lots of keys and backbeats. it's just how i roll now.
i was into the avett brothers before they were into themselves. i know about bands before they even form. snap! i'm sort of over the confessional type singer/songwriters. i hate the new bright eyes. i like things that make me dance now.
Icky Thump is a good song i like Conquest, You Don't Know What Love Is, Little Cream Soda, and my favorite Catch Hell Blues all from the same album, to be honest the whole album is really good.
I take it the concert was the shit, patty b was really hyped for it when i talked to him. My buddy bryan went to see Peter Frampton and said it was awsome. I want to get around to some concerts this summer.
bonnaroo pisses me off now. we(tennessee) lose out on more intimate shows, because of this damn festival. i'd much rather see the national at a lovely theatre in nashville with air conditioning. ugh.
