His influences include artists such as: Kevin Devine, Elliott Smith, and Manchester Orchestra. He has been slowly and carefully working on new material and playing shows through the years. Eventually, he teamed up with Louisburg drummer, Dave Cann, to record and independently release his EP "Grow Up" in 2009 which includes five original songs that were recorded at Feret Hole Studios in Glace Bay. Since then he has been gradually developing a full-band to play his music live.

hey dude! thanks for the props! we'd love to play in sydney again, but for some reason we never get asked to do shows there. we did one and like 5 kids showed up. it was last minute but still. i dunno. if you hear of anyone looking for bands to play. let us know boss! later
Hey Brett! great new music. Sorry it took so long to listen and get back to you, my computer has had some awful viruses lately. Great new page layout too!
holy crap....already listened to it earlier this night. I actually just logged on to comment on it. Yeah, really good. What's your inspiration for this one?
Hey Brett! I really like your music and it's inspired me to do my own thing I've added two new songs, and a blog do you think you could tell me what you think about them? my vocals aren't anything amazing, I wasn't born a singer, but the main thing that I have fun doing it, it would mean alot if you could check them out!
thanks a bunch, dude, we really appreciate it. the only thing on the song that is finished is the drum tracking. the guitars are out of tune and have some timing issues. the vocals were recorded with an instrument mic rather than a condenser because our producer has only recently got his condenser back. he has been really busy, so we havent had much time to finish anything but all of the drum tracks. we'll be re-recording the guitar, bass and vox on this song soon, along with doing that for our other 4 songs. the re-recorded version will be much better. just wait, dude, haha.
thanks again, your new track sounds great as well.
