The passion of singer, songwriter, and pastor Brett Rush is evident in everything he does. Perhaps this explains his accomplishments for the Kingdom in such a short time. He planted Shiloh Community Fellowship, an inter-denominational church, where he has been serving as pastor and worship leader. Brett confesses, “I was created to worship, and I am called to preach.”

Brett’s latest project Everything I Am has been three years in the making. Fresh off the success of his first national release, Invitation, which He has been touring with for the past three years, Brett brings a new twist to his ministry and message.

“Everything I Am is a portrait of the journey of faith that all of us are on,” Brett confides, “I think it’s time for the church to recognize the need for authenticity. We need to lay down our holier-than-thou facades and not be afraid to admit our struggles. It’s refreshing to know that you’re not the only one who doesn’t have it all together all the time.”

Brett garnered 4 top 40 inspirational radio singles off his album Invitation and this album is proving to resound in the hearts of its listeners with even more enthusiasm. As Brett continues to follow the call of God on his life, He does so not only as singer, songwriter, worship leader, and pastor; but also as husband and father. He is married to Dawn Renee’ and they have two boys, Jonathon and Jordan. Brett recognizes what’s most important in life…

“I’m thankful for all the opportunities that God has given me to share his love through music,” confides Brett, “but I understand that my primary ministry on this earth is the life I enjoy with my wife and kids. If I fail at that ministry, I don’t deserve the privilege of the others. I’m married to the most beautiful worshipper I know, and her love and support helps me do what I do.”
