Influences
Although I hate this question, I'd say I'm influenced a lot by U2, the Doors, Queen, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Verve, Oasis, Travis, David Gray, John Mayer, Nora Jones, Natalie Merchant, Coldplay, The Black Crowes, AC/DC, K's Choice. I'd also like to give a special nod to local artists that have influenced me: Dan McKinnis; Brad, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Rob Stewart Fiasco, Dudley Manlove Quartet, Brandi Carlile, The Cloves, Late Tuesday, Summer Mayne, and The Bend.

Brian Marshall is fascinated by the world and how it all works. It's his curiosity that allows him to translate his emotions into lyrics that find your heart aching one moment and then daydreaming along with him the next.
Listen and you will hear a voice that blends beauty, wisdom and all the irony in between.
His solo CD, “Stand On Your Own”, is a peek into life's simple truths. “It Won’t Be The Same” showcases his ability to connect voice with character.
In it he sings, “Seeing life in the half light, wondering why my shadow’s all alone, thinking no one will notice, as long as I keep to myself all that cripples my soul.”
Brian is original, passionate and a sheer pleasure to start your days or end your nights with.
Brian’s music has been featured on the television shows "Summerland", "Las Vegas", "John Doe" and “What About Brian?”.
Likely story. I had a great time at your show, thank you very much! I am sorry I didn't say goodbye though. I was a little intoxicated and it completely skipped my mind. My bad. We should get together sometime soon though. Catch up, etc...
I have a wedding to go to next weekend in the San Juans, but the weekend after that will work! Looking forward to it, it's been waaaaay too long! Have your people call my people...or something. :)
